Inside and outside the ring

I started shooting the circus in 1998, while studying at The National Institute of Design, as part of an assignment, though I have been interested in this subject since I was a child. Every year circuses would visit my hometown, Aligarh as a part of the Numaish. The Numaish, is an yearly local fair and it was a big attraction for us as children. Over the years, I have shot different circuses in India.
